“At MEG Energy we have fine-tuned our management of SDSs using Chemscape’s document managing software. Overall, we found it to be a very easy, simple system to use. Some of the specifics that I like best about the system include: the search function is very intuitive, there is an option to include searchable synonyms for products, the product name search is especially easy because of the partial search function, and the app is a valuable tool for workers on-site. There was also an increased interest in safety as reflected by a higher number of SDS being requested. Another important effect of using Chemscape’s SDS system is that we have had a notable savings in labor related to SDS management as it replaced two paid salary positions: one in the office and another in the field.”
